Requires 2 AAA batteries (not included), appx 12/13 oz water capacity
Official instructions are to fill w/ warm water & dish soap, let run for 5 minutes
Works excellent for maintenance, no magic stain cleaner on brushes, however
Does need filled to work properly, it is basically a mini bathtub so the more clean water the better; would say works the best at no more than 4/5 brushes
Suction cups to the counter; worked much better if the counter was a bit damp for the suction to work properly
